Reece Wilson

Professional statement

Reece is a passionate Occupational Therapist at Hiya Health Labrador Clinic.

Reece has come from a background in sport and exercise science where he spent his earlier career as a sports administrator, particularly working with grassroots to high performance Paralympic athletes. During this time, Reece was fortunate enough to travel to diverse places of the world with high performance Paralympic teams. This is where Reece’s passion sparked in the assistive technology and home modifications space, as well as an invested interest in occupational justice for all.

In recent times, Reece has spent his early Occupational Therapy career in paediatrics, supporting children with a variety of neurodevelopmental disorders and other neurological conditions. During this time, Reece has built experience in supporting children and families with a variety of needs, ensuring a holistic approach to therapy that’s led by evidence-based practice.

In his down time, Reece enjoys being by the water, spending time with his young family and playing lawn bowls.
