Matthew Norris
Exercise Physiologist, Hiya Health Beenleigh
Matthew is an Exercise Physiologist at Hiya Health Beenleigh, who is passionate about helping people of all ages and all presentations.
Matthew completed his Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Physiology with Honours at the University of Queensland. He has gained a wealth of experience during his time in major hospitals, health clinics and rural outpatient centres before joining Hiya Health in 2025.
Passionate about helping people in any way he can, Matthew remains dedicated to client-centred care and continued professional development with the completion of additional qualifications in level one strength and conditioning for athletic and tactical populations, alongside a Certificate IV in advanced pre-hospital emergency care and both Certificates III and IV in Fitness prior to becoming an Exercise Physiologist.
Matthew’s clinical areas of interest and experience includes cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, diabetes management, ageing populations, chronic musculoskeletal conditions, athletic performance, strength and conditioning and academic research.
Matthew enjoys spending his downtime pursuing hobbies including Archery, Jiu Jitsu, Basketball and Gardening.
