Marie is an experienced Physiotherapist and the current Clinic Manager at our Paddington Clinic.

Marie graduated from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy. After qualifying, Marie worked as a Physiotherapist at The Rotunda Hospital – Ireland’s busiest and the world’s longest-running maternity hospital! During her time there, she gained extensive experience in Women’s Health Physiotherapy, particularly in pre- and post-natal care.

Marie joined the Hiya Health team in 2021 after relocating to Australia, where she remains dedicated to promoting maternal health and well-being. With a passion for exercise and education, as well as further qualifications in matwork and reformer Pilates, she ensures that women are fully informed and supported in optimizing their health before, during, after pregnancy, and through all of life’s stages.

Marie provides individualized, tailored care and takes an active role in mentoring junior staff in Women’s Health Physiotherapy. She is also passionate about long-term athletic development and physical health promotion, complementing this with additional professional training as an ASCA-accredited Strength and Conditioning Level 1 coach. Her clinical experience spans a diverse range of disciplines, including general populations, as well as working with individuals with ASD and ADHD.

When she’s not in the clinic or leading Pilates sessions, Marie enjoys running and making the most of the beautiful weather this stunning state has to offer!

Working at Hiya Health allows me to pursue all that I am passionate about! Too many women will stop exercising at some point in their pregnancy or post natal journey because they do not know what to do, or they go about it in the wrong way. At Hiya Health, I can follow women on this journey providing education, assessment, manual therapies, targeted exercise programming such as strength training and pilates along all stages of this journey.

I also get to be part of our amazing pilates studio family! There is nothing else that could give me the excited energy needed for 6am starts than the energy in the studio with the gang!

Finally, it is inspiring to work with such like-minded, talented  yet different personalities within the team at Hiya Health! The continuous strive for excellence in client care is not something that can be taken for granted!’
