Krissy is a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist located at Hiya Health’s Cleveland Clinic. Originally from New Zealand, she graduated from Auckland University of Technology with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy, and she brings experience working within both paediatric and adults in community settings.

Krissy enjoys working across both paediatric and adult practice areas. Within paediatrics, Krissy is passionate about creating a safe, engaging, and neuroaffirming environment where children feel understood, empowered, and supported to grow with confidence and authenticity. She works from both our quiet OT room and sensory motor gym, supporting development in sensory processing, emotional regulation, daily living routines, and motor skills.

Krissy also has a strong background in adult rehabilitation, with a particular focus on upper limb and neurological impairment. She is dedicated to helping individuals rebuild strength, coordination, and function, empowering them to regain their independence and re-engage in meaningful daily activities following neurological impairment.

Krissy approaches her work with compassion and curiosity, using a neuroaffirming and client-centred framework to support participation, growth, and wellbeing across all stages of life.

I was drawn to occupational therapy because of its unique ability to empower people, helping them overcome challenges and build independence in the activities that matter most to them. I love that occupational therapy takes a holistic approach, looking at the whole person not just their diagnosis. Being able to truly listen to people, understand their goals, and support them in finding meaningful solutions is what makes this profession so rewarding.”
