Jaimee is an experienced Physiotherapist at Hiya Health Labrador who holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Otago. Jaimee’s career started as a community Physiotherapist in Waikato, New Zealand where she had the privilege of working in a diverse range of community settings focused on her passion of bridging the gap between accessibility and healthcare.

Alongside generalised acute injury and pain management, Jaimee took an interest in neuro-physiotherapy, working on a concussion and whiplash service and vocational rehabilitation. This was aimed at helping optimise the recovery and treatment plan for injured workers looking to promptly get back on their feet.

Jaimee has experience working with field athletes, having managed rugby players at all levels ranging from local clubs to representative duties. Her role was on and off field acute care, injury prevention throughout the season and rehabilitation programs for return to play. Her interest in concussion management and strength and conditioning was key in her management of athletes in this area.

At Hiya Health, Jaimee continues to deliver patient centred care across her clinical expertise in musculoskeletal injury and pain management (especially of head and neck injuries), neurological conditions, athlete development and return to work schemes.

When not at work, Jaimee enjoys watching and playing sports, running and exploring everything her new backyard in the Gold Coast has to offer.
