Grace is an experienced occupational therapist for the Ipswich community at Hiya Health Ipswich, where she is passionate about helping children develop the skills they need to participate confidently in everyday life. She has a special interest in paediatric therapy, particularly in supporting children with emotional regulation, fine and gross motor skill development, social skills, and the prescription of assistive equipment and home modifications.

Grace completed her occupational therapy degree at Griffith University, where she built a strong foundation in evidence-based therapy and family-centred care. She understands the importance of tailoring therapy to each child’s individual strengths, challenges, and goals, working closely with families, teachers, and other health professionals to ensure a collaborative and supportive approach.

As part of her commitment to the profession, Grace is also involved in peer mentoring, providing guidance and support to fellow occupational therapists as they develop their clinical skills and confidence. She values the opportunity to share knowledge, discuss  cases, and contribute to a strong and supportive therapy community.

She is committed to ongoing learning and development, continuously expanding her knowledge to provide the best possible support for her clients.

Professional Development:

  • Traffic Jam in My Brain (sensory processing and self-regulation)
  • Emotional Regulation Strategies for children
  • Executive Functioning Courses (supporting attention, planning, and problem-solving skills)
