Clive is an experienced Occupational Therapist at Hiya Health Sunnybank. In 2016, Clive completed his Bachelor of Occupational Therapy at Kaohsiung Medical University, a WFOT-approved degree, and subsequently passed the Professional Examination to obtain an Occupational Therapist License. Since, Clive has worked across multiple settings in Taiwan, including hospital, clinics, community, and children development centre. During this time, he explored and developed his special interests in academic readiness, learning support, and handwriting.
With a passion for exploring the potential and diversity of Occupational Therapy, he went to mainland China where he gained experience working in private clinics. While there, he collaborated with a multidisciplinary team of health professionals trained in various countries. This experience exposes him to a variety of clinical reasoning styles and diverse approaches tailored to clients’ needs.
In an effort to enhance his knowledge and better serve clients in Australia, Clive pursued a master’s degree in Occupational Therapy at the University of Queensland. This program provided him with insights into the cultural, funding, and systemic aspects of occupational therapy in Australia.
With a diverse background and a wealth of experience from various practice contexts, Clive excels at integrating different intervention styles and approaches to meet client expectations and achieve optimal outcomes. He aspires to further his career in Australia and aims to be a culturally responsive practitioner, bringing his expertise to benefit clients. When Clive is not spending his time bringing out the best potential in his clients, he enjoys spending his downtime playing tennis and watching Netflix.
