Britney is a Senior Physiotherapist at Sunnybank Hills and our physiotherapy team leader at Hiya Health. She graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours Class 1) at The University of Queensland. Since graduating, she has found a passion for working with clients with neurological and vestibular disorders. Britney enjoys tailoring treatment plans to each individual client to help them achieve their goals, no matter how big or small. This passion has led her to pursue further postgraduate education, completing a Graduate Certificate in Rehabilitation (Physiotherapy) in 2022 through ACU. Following the completion of this certificate, she has continued her post-graduate education, and she is currently in her last semester of the Masters of Neurological Rehabilitation program at ACU to gain her physiotherapy titling in neurological rehabilitation.

Britney’s previous post-graduate professional development includes dry needling courses and further APA continuing professional development in neurological physiotherapy including stroke rehabilitation, spinal cord injury management and multiple sclerosis physiotherapy management amongst others.

Britney has a passion for providing holistic care to a variety of neurological rehabilitation clients including acute and progressive conditions. She thoroughly enjoys working with clients across different points in their rehabilitation to work towards achieving goals and optimising function. She works closely with the wider allied health team to ensure her clients receive the care they need. Britney’s main interest areas are in vestibular rehabilitation and neurological rehabilitation including stroke, spinal cord injury, multiple sclerosis and ataxia rehabilitation.

I genuinely care about all the clients I get to work with every day at Hiya Health. I love working with clients along the continuum of care to provide physiotherapy at different stages of their lives. It is incredibly rewarding to work with clients and their allied health team to achieve their goals and progress them through their rehabilitation.

Getting to work in such an enthusiastic and caring interdisciplinary team every day is incredibly rewarding. Being able to work so closely with the full Hiya Health team to share knowledge and ideas allows for the best allied health experience our clients could ask for.
