Alyssa is a physiotherapist at our Redcliffe clinic with a special interest in Women’s Health and Clinical Reformer Pilates. A graduate of the Australian Catholic University, she has undertaken further professional development in pelvic health and exercise-based rehabilitation, with a strong focus on delivering comprehensive, evidence-based care for women across all stages of life.

She provides assessment and treatment for pelvic organ prolapse, pelvic pain, urinary incontinence, overactive bladder, anorectal dysfunction, pregnancy-related pelvic girdle pain, and postnatal concerns including diastasis rectus abdominis and pelvic floor rehabilitation. Alyssa has a particular interest in supporting women throughout pregnancy and the postpartum period, helping them prepare physically and confidently for birth, and guiding recovery with structured, progressive rehabilitation.

Her approach integrates current research with clinical expertise to deliver clear education and individualised treatment planning. She is passionate about providing safe, effective exercise during pregnancy and evidence-based postnatal rehabilitation, ensuring women return to activity feeling strong, supported, and confident in their bodies. Alyssa also values exercise for healthy ageing, helping women build strength, protect joint and bone health, and maintain long-term independence.

With a background as a reformer Pilates instructor, Alyssa incorporates Clinical Reformer Pilates into rehabilitation to optimise strength, pelvic floor function, and movement quality. She runs a weekly Healthy Joints group and enjoys facilitating group reformer classes, creating supportive, empowering environments where women can build confidence and move well.
Alongside her women’s health focus, Alyssa has over a decade of experience working with children and maintains a strong interest in paediatric physiotherapy and neurodevelopmental conditions.

She enjoys supporting children to achieve developmental milestones, improve balance and coordination, and participate more confidently in daily life.

Alyssa believes that movement is medicine. Her care combines hands-on therapy, targeted exercise, and education to promote long-term strength, resilience, and wellbeing.

Outside the clinic, Alyssa enjoys surfing, practicing reformer Pilates, and spending time with friends and family.
