Nick Stevens

Nick is an Occupational Therapist at Hiya Health Beenleigh. In 2022, Nick completed his Bachelor of Occupational Therapy at Griffith University – Gold Coast and subsequently commenced working at Hiya Health. Prior to this, Nick worked in a role as an Occupational Therapist Aide where he gained invaluable experience working alongside participants of varying health conditions and ages. He has worked with individuals who have neurodevelopmental disorders (ASD, ADHD, GDD, SPD) and physical and cognitive disabilities (Stroke, Cerebral Palsy, ABI, Amputations). Additionally, Nick has experience and passion working with the elderly population and supporting them to maximise their independence within the home environment. 

Nick values the importance of client centred practice and individualising therapy to best achieve client goals. He takes pride in being able to form relationships with both his clients and their families. When Nick is not spending his time at Hiya Health he enjoys working on his golf game and spending time with his family and dog, Buddy.
