Occupational Therapists can suggest assistive technology or home modifications to make the environment safer and easier to navigate.
They can also support you to regain or maintain your ability to perform everyday tasks like bathing, dressing, and preparing meals.
Physiotherapists and Exercise Physiologists can work with you in your own environment to improve your capacity to navigate your home, or build strength and functional capacity without the need to travel to the clinic.
In-home therapy allows for a highly customised approach, tailored specifically to the individual’s home setup, lifestyle, and goals.
