Nicolette Shallvey
Physiotherapist, Hiya Health Ipswich
Nicolette graduated from a Master of Physiotherapy Studies from The University of Queensland. Her passion for physiotherapy comes from her love for exercise and sport, as well as human anatomy and physiology.
Nicolette has over 8 years experience serving in the ADF and therefore understands military life and its physical demands. Due to this she is an advocate for the health and wellbeing of current and ex-serving members. She enjoys working with clients across a broad spectrum however, including paediatrics, with prior experience with children and adolescents in sports coaching and swim teaching settings. Nicolette is currently completing training in women’s health to gain further knowledge to effectively improve the quality of life and general wellbeing of her women’s health clients.
Outside of work, Nicolette enjoys spending quality time with family and friends and exploring the outdoors, and loves board games, art, reading and doing circus aerials. She has a keen interest in linguistics and travelling to new places, and is obsessed with watching fantasy shows with her partner and going to medieval festivals and events.
