Ruby Peacock
Physiotherapist, Hiya Health Sunnybank
Ruby graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the Australian Catholic University. Raised on the Sunshine Coast, Ruby’s involvement in surf lifesaving, swimming, dancing and netball sparked her passion for physiotherapy and promoting an active, injury-free lifestyle. Ruby joined the Hiya team in 2024, where she began to develop strong connections with her clients.
Ruby is passionate about lifelong learning and enjoys staying up to date with current research to ensure her clients receive the best available evidence-based care. She embraces professional development opportunities to continue growing both personally and professionally. By actively listening to each patient’s unique needs and goals, Ruby takes a holistic, patient-centred approach to treatment, incorporating a blend of manual therapy, tailored exercise programs and education to achieve the best possible outcomes.
While continuously advocating for active lifestyles, Ruby understands the importance of high-quality injury management and rehabilitation towards achieving optimal participation in life. Her passion lies in treating both acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions, with a particular focus on injury prevention and working with active individuals and sporting populations.
When she’s not in the clinic helping others move better and feel their best, you’ll find her practising reformer Pilates, enjoying a coffee with friends or taking in the sunshine on a peaceful river walk.
