Courtney is an experienced Occupational Therapist at Hiya Health. Courtney obtained a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy in 2016 from the University of the Sunshine Coast and has worked in a range of settings include Rehabilitation, Aged Care and Community before joining Hiya Health in 2021. Courtney has a special interest area in working with those who have a neurological or physical disability to help them live a more independent and dignified life. She has experience in complex Assistive Technology prescription, Minor and Complex Home modifications, Upper Limb Rehabilitation and Activities of Daily Living skills training.
Courtney is also one of our Senior Occupational Therapists who spends time mentoring our newly graduated Occupational Therapists to help build up their skills and practices increasing the overall calibre of the team.
Courtney brings deep clinical expertise, having worked with the NDIS since its earliest rollout in Brisbane. She specialises in supporting adults and older adults with complex needs, offering a broad scope of assessment and therapeutic interventions.
