Caleb Thomas
Occupational Therapist, Hiya Health Caboolture
Caleb is a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist at Hiya Health Caboolture. He began his academic journey by completing a Bachelor of Exercise Science at Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in 2012 and later pursued a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy at Australian Catholic University (ACU), graduating in 2021. Since then, Caleb has been an integral part of the Hiya Health team.
Driven by a passion for empowering individuals, Caleb is committed to supporting clients in achieving greater independence, improving their ability to engage in daily activities, and enhancing their overall quality of life.
Caleb plays an active role in mentoring and educating new graduate Occupational Therapists at the clinic, fostering professional growth within the team. His approach is client-cantered and holistic, ensuring tailored care that addresses each individual’s unique needs. He collaborates extensively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders, striving to deliver the highest standard of care and optimal patient outcomes.
With clinical expertise in adult therapy, neurological conditions, assistive technology and equipment prescription, and is an accredited home modifications assessor, Caleb offers a comprehensive skill set to his clients.
Outside of work, Caleb is an avid photographer and enjoys staying active through exercise, fishing, and golf. Caleb has a keen interest in basketball particularly the NBA, and enjoys cooking. He cherishes spending time with family and friends and has a passion for exploring new destinations through travel.
