Hiya Health Sunnybank Hills Occupational Therapists + You = success! Our Occupational Therapy team are experienced across a number of OT disciplines. The Jackson Road clinic is equipped with OT specific consultation rooms and sensory spaces, with a wide range of therapy tools available to make sure you are getting the most out of your sessions.
Our diverse team of male and female occupational therapists have experience in assisting clients with;
– Developmental Peadiatric Disorders (such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
– Intellectual Disability and cognitive impairments
– Chromosomal conditions – Assistive technology advice and prescription (walking aids, mobility scooters, wheelchairs)
– School or work readiness
– Social Skill Development
– Fine motor skill development (including handwriting, self-care and feeding skills)
– Executive Functioning skills
– Maintaining independence at home or in the community
– Behavioural regulation
– Life skills (meal preparation, financial management, domestic tasks)
– Home modifications
– NDIS reporting (Functional Capacity Assessments, Assistive Technology reports)
We accommodate clients across various funding channels, including the My Aged Care Commonwealth Home Support Program and Home Care Packages, NDIS (Self-Managed, Plan-Managed, and NDIA-Managed participants), Medicare Enhanced Primary Care Plan (EPC)/Chronic Disease GP Management Plans (GPMP), and WorkCover. Additionally, we facilitate Private Health rebates for eligible clients. Our OT team are able to work with clients both at home and at our Jackson Road clinic, depending on what works best for you!
To meet the unique needs of the Sunnybank Hills community and surrounds, we have paedatric OT sessions available with a Mandarin speaking occupational therapist as well.
